Home Inspector, Doug Shepherd, carries with him, many years of experience needed to provide you with a thorough and accurate home inspection.
He began his construction career in the early 1980’s by rebuilding his first house, which included everything from foundation work and replacing dry rotted floors to a building a new roof. His career continued at Bellingham Marine Industries, where he became a successful concrete finisher and oversaw all the company’s finishing work. On weekends, he helped his brother build houses for Shepherd Homes, in Skagit Valley.
Eventually he was awarded an apprenticeship through L.U. 191, in Everett, where he completed his 8000 hour apprenticeship and became a licensed Washington State Journeyman Wireman. He excelled at his
trade and began working for Cascade Electric.
Before long, outside sources recognized his abilities and offered him a job at Arco Refinery, where he worked for 17 years. During that time, he pursued more schooling and attained his Washington State Master Electrician card, known as an Administrator’s card.
In 2015, Doug decided to break out of the construction world and opened his own company, Pacific Rim Home inspection LLC.
Please feel free to give Doug a call for any of your inspection needs when purchasing or pre selling a house. You can rest assured knowing he has over 35 years’ experience in the field.
